Heavy manufacturing company near Charleston, South Carolina needs an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to control power and sensor systems in the plant.

Relocation assistance is available.

• Maintain and troubleshoot high voltage (12.5KV) systems with 120 VDC controls.
• Maintain and troubleshoot 480 VAC distribution systems and motor starter circuits.
• Maintain and troubleshoot 120 VAC and low voltage AC/DC motor control circuits.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and program AC & DC variable frequency drives.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, calibrate, install, repair, and inspect all other unspecified plant electronic and instrumentation devices and equipment as needed.
• Maintain and troubleshoot overhead cranes which include static stepless controls and wound rotor motors.

 

Qualifications

US military members, or former members with Electrical and Instrumentation Technician experience highly desired. (This is an immediate opening.)

Several years’ experience working in a heavy manufacturing environment, such as primary metals mills, paper, textile mills, or packaging, bottling, cement-making, etc.

Completion of a craft training program in industrial electricity.

Familiar with Microsoft Office, IT databases.
