This role will act as a key contributor within the Electrical Engineering team, supporting the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of electrical documentation and product designs. Operating at the intersection of engineering design, manufacturing, and product development, this role requires strong expertise in electrical drafting, CAD tools, BOM management, and testing support activities.
You will collaborate closely with engineering, product development, implementation, and manufacturing teams to create and maintain high-quality electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and associated documentation. As a member of the product development team, you will support new product introductions, design revisions, testing activities, and documentation standardization initiatives to ensure accurate, scalable, and production-ready solutions.

Key Accountabilities
- Electrical Design & Documentation: Develop new and revise existing electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts using AutoCAD Electrical to support product development and manufacturing requirements.
- CAD Drawing Management: Prepare detailed, production-quality specifications and CAD drawings while ensuring compliance with engineering standards and internal documentation practices.
- Engineering Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams to ensure documentation accurately reflects current design intent and supports product lifecycle requirements.
- BOM Management & Product Data Support: Create, maintain, and update Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ensure accuracy and alignment with engineering changes.
- PLM Integration Support: Assist in developing and maintaining AutoCAD-to-PLM integration libraries, including part number generation and maintenance within PLM and LN systems.
- Documentation Standardization: Support the development and implementation of standardized documentation processes to improve efficiency and consistency across projects.
- Testing & Validation Support: Assist in the setup and execution of electrical test procedures, including data collection, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and validation activities.
- Quality & Safety Reviews: Review electrical designs and products to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and manufacturing requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in design reviews, process improvement initiatives, and troubleshooting activities to enhance product performance and documentation quality.
What We're Looking For
Education and Experience
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with electrical systems, automation machines, controllers, and industrial equipment.
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment, including knowledge of materials, processes, and industry standards.
- Hands-on experience and understanding of VFDs, motors, and automation control topologies.
Technical Skills
- AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks, Revit, Electrical Schematics, Wiring Diagrams, Panel Layout Design, BOM Management, VFD & Motor Applications, Automation Control Systems, PLM Systems.
