Electrical Engineer

Job Description:

Job Summary**

CROWN Arabia Can Company Ltd is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to maintain and improve our electrical systems, ensuring operational efficiency and safety in our manufacturing facilities.

Job Responsibilities**

* Design, develop, and maintain electrical control systems and components for manufacturing equipment.
* Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical malfunctions in machinery, production lines, and plant infrastructure.
* Implement preventative maintenance programs for electrical systems to minimize downtime.
* Prepare and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical safety standards and regulations (e.g., NFPA, IEC).
* Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and production teams to optimize processes and equipment performance.
* Manage electrical projects from conception to completion, including budgeting and vendor coordination.
* Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems and equipment to identify potential issues and recommend solutions.
* Train and mentor junior electrical technicians as required.
* Develop and update electrical documentation and operating procedures.

Job Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
* Strong knowledge of industrial control systems (PLCs, VFDs, HMI).
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical drawings.
* Familiarity with relevant electrical codes and safety standards.
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical) is a plus.
