Electrical Owners Representative

We have an immediate requirement for a Electrical Owners Representative for a Data Center Project in Mons, Belgium.

Responsibilities

• Represent the owner's interests during all phases of project delivery.
• Provide technical oversight of electrical design, installation, testing and commissioning activities.
• Review and comment on engineering deliverables, specifications and construction documentation.
• Monitor contractor performance, quality, programme and compliance with project requirements.
• Attend design reviews, progress meetings and site inspections.
• Ensure adherence to local regulations, industry standards and health & safety requirements.
• Support risk management, change control and issue resolution.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, CSA, commissioning and operations stakeholders.
• Review FATs, SATs and commissioning documentation.
• Support project close-out, handover and operational readiness activities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, construction or project delivery.
• Proven experience on large-scale data centre, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, industrial or mission-critical projects.
• Strong understanding of:
  • HV/LV power distribution
  • UPS systems
  • Generators
  • Switchgear
  • Protection systems
  • Earthing and lightning protection
• Experience managing EPC, EPCM or major contractor interfaces.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
• Fluent English; Dutch and/or French would be an advantage.
