Electrical QA/QC

Overview

As a QA/QC, you will be responsible for Quality Control on work by crews involved in the installation or repair of electrical systems. The ideal candidates have a TDLR Apprentice / Journeyman license, previous QA/QC experience or a minimum of 8 years in commercial or industrial electrical construction, a solid employment history and demonstrate integrity and reliability. Responsibilities

• Performing Inspections of equipment as well as in-wall, ceiling, underground, and finals.
• Team with field leadership and the Project Manager on scope of work and installed work.
• Working with FSG personnel to make sure city and state inspections are successful.
• Performing Pre-functional Checklists (PFTs) of equipment.
• Keeping track of observations and punch list items.
• Monitors work as performed.
• Oversees the disposition of required office correspondence and administrative paperwork such as official forms, MEG Sheets, torque sheets and third-party reports.
• Assures compliance with all FSG Electric safety processes and protocols.
• Work with commissioning agents and customers QAQC to ensure all electrical components are installed per contract documents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Valid TDLR Apprentice License or Journeyman's.
• Must be able to pass a drug and background screen.
• Ability to multitask while staying organized.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Positive customer service skills.
• Experience in commercial or industrial electrical construction.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and digitally use Procore.

Pay Range

USD $30.00 - USD $35.00 /Hr.
