The Long Products Division, Steel of West Virginia is expanding and adding positions for an Electrical Technician.
Responsibilities
The Electrical Technician is a management position that provides:
- Technical support to plant maintenance personnel
- Troubleshooting various issues
- Undertakes special projects
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
We seek someone with in-depth experience on the following control platforms:
- I/O on PLC’s (SLC 500 and PLC 5, and Allen Bradley Panel View)
- Experience with RS Logix 5000 platform and Studio
- Experience with Allen Bradley and ABB drives is a plus
- Solid state AC & DC motor controls
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- A degree in Electrical Engineering Tech or Electrical Engineering is a definite plus
