Electrical Trainer

Overview

Cummings Electrical is hiring for an Electrical Trainer for our office in Fort Worth, TX.

his is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, licensed electrician with a positive demeanor who is results oriented. The person must be flexible and comfortable in working closely with Operations, resource coordinators, HR, and Training in performing hands-on assessments and making recommendations that determine the technical skill level and wage required for employment eligibility for various roles companywide.

In addition, this role is responsible for the development, facilitation, and continuous improvement of technical skills training in simulated and physical environments across Cummings’ businesses.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates success in developing learning content and curricula that promotes retention
• Collaborates with other subject matter experts to develop course content
• Can create learning activities, handout materials, and assessments
• Develops instructor manuals, participant guides, and other teaching tools as needed
• Analyzes, updates, and revises existing training content/programs
• Creates and maintains a comfortable learning environment
• Sets ground rules to encourage positive group interaction
• Leads learning activities to outcomes that produce self-discovery for the learner

Qualifications

• Electrical Journeyman License
• Strong experience in electrical and mechanical systems
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
• Able to develop business relationships (internal and external)
• Collaborative style with a decisive, results-oriented approach
• Can handle sensitive information to maintain confidentiality.
• Strong computer skills and adept at learning new software
• Accurate and detail-oriented
• Flexible – can prioritize and manage multiple projects to meet deadlines
