• Design and develop firmware for asset condition monitoring systems and high-power electronics platforms.

• Runschematic reviewsandsupporthardware bring-upi.e.bridging hardware and software from early prototype through field deployment

• Implement andmaintainCAN, LIN, Modbus, IEC61850etccommunication stacks

• Apply automotive embedded architecture principles (ISO 26262, AUTOSAR) to power electronics and monitoring applications

• Collaborate with hardware, power electronics, and product teams on system requirements and interface definitions

• Participate in design reviews, FMEA, and qualification testing across product lines

Qualifications

• First Principles Thinking

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field

• Strongfundamentalsin C/C++; experience with bare-metal, RTOS-based (FreeRTOS, Zephyr), and embedded Linux environments

• Experience with automotive/industrial communication protocols: CAN, LIN, SPI, I2C, UART, Modbus, IEC61850

• Experience with debugging tools: JTAG, oscilloscopes, logicanalysers, and hardware bring-up workflows

• Experience with version control (Git), build systems (Make/CMake), and Agile development practices

• Hands-on automotive embedded experienceis a plus: ISO 26262 functional safety, AUTOSAR architecture, or ECU development

• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across hardware-software interactions

• Excellent written and verbal communications in English
