Emergency Department Scribe

Our company was developed in 1995, we are a nationally recognized company, that works hand in hand with emergency department physicians.

Our scribes follow the physicians throughout their entire shift, managing all of the documentation for each patient, all the while learning medical terminology, diagnoses, clinical profiles, and gaining amazing clinical experience.

We are currently looking for candidates, who are interested in gaining medical experience, to join our team at PhysAssist Scribes in Bemidji, MN. Our scribes work in the emergency department at Sanford Bemidji Medical Center.

As a medical scribe you will do the following:

- Work side by side physicians as they see patients
- Document the patient history
- Document the physical exam
- Prepare plans for follow up care
- Enter x-ray, lab, and diagnostic test results

Physician Shadowing, EMT, Medical Research Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant, and Phlebotomist experience a plus!

Qualifications

You must be at least 18 years of age, and have sophomore, junior or senior status or recent graduate. Freshman are not eligible for hire. You must be a pre-health professional student at an accredited university. You must be able to balance school and work. You must have excellent computer / typing skills.
