**$500 sign on bonus ($250 at the completion of first week of training and $250 after successful completion of first 90 days)**

Position: Employment & Training Support Professional 2 – Flex

Location: Ronkonkoma, NY 

Rate of Pay: $22.92 per hour

Hours: 25 hours per week between the hours of 9:00am-2:30pm

Schedule: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm with flexibility for occasional weekend hours as needed 

Summary: 

• Provides orientation, training, and supervision of workers with disabilities, working alongside individuals with disabilities in a worksite or community-based employer. The Support Professional 2 implements employment plans designed to maximize worker progress and assures job is performed to specifications. 

 Qualifications: 

• High School/GED or Hi-SET plus 1 year related experience and/or training. 
• One year of human service experience desired. 
• Knowledge of and respect for diverse populations. 
• Experience working with OPWDD Day Habilitation and employment programs preferred. 

 Requirements: 

• Ability to use computers to include Microsoft Word, data entry, email and internet essential. 
• Valid driver’s license, 3 years driving experience, good driving record, use of vehicle with compulsory auto insurance and vehicle registration, and willingness to transport program members in personal and/or agency vehicle.  
• Must be able to travel within the region to access residential settings, employers, and community organizations.
