EMT Basic

The EMT-Basic is responsible for the delivery of quality care for ill or injured patients under varied conditions in collaboration with departmental specific personnel. The EMT-Basic must be highly motivated and able to function using assessment skills and written standards when physician contact is not possible. Must also be able to participate in departmental committees, public relations, and outreach education.

Required Qualifications:

• Upon hire: Texas Emergency Medical Technician Advanced License - Texas Office of EMS-Trauma Systems, Or
• Upon hire: Texas Emergency Medical Technician Intermediate License - Texas Office of EMS-Trauma Systems, Or
• Upon hire: Texas Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic License - Texas Office of EMS-Trauma Systems, Or
• Upon hire: Texas Emergency Medical Technician License - Texas Office of EMS-Trauma Systems (Vendor Managed)
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
