End Dump Operator

PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A CDL.

Must Have 2 years with CDL

Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Will be loading all types of materials as requested from clients.
2. Must check that safety pins are present and utilized for each load to ensure doors do not open while in transit. Must ensure both hook latches and pins are closed properly to ensure door does not open unexpectedly.
3. Monitor amount of material is loaded to ensure load does not exceed the legal limit or lead to dropping material while in transit. Ensure consistency of materials is solid enough to where it will not slosh over the top of the End Dump.
4. Maintain accurate work tickets based on the company’s requirements and the work performed for the customer. Writing all details of the job which was performed. Turn in paperwork as frequently as possible to office personnel to ensure timely processing.
5. Must be sure to carry a scraping tool to clean any residue that may accumulate while loading certain types of materials so doors may close properly.
6. Inspect equipment to ensure doors are opening and closing properly.
7. Inspects and fuels vehicle prior to beginning shift.
8. Keep accurate log, pre-trip/post-trip inspections using provided DVIR, and JSA’s. Abide by all FMCSA DOT regulations while operating a company CMV.
9. Alerting appropriate supervisor when mechanical defects are noted on truck.
   
10. Driver’s must maintain Class A CDL throughout their employment without any restrictions preventing them from being able to cross state lines.
11. Performs other related duties as assigned.
