Engineering and Technology Summer Internship Programme

We're looking for talented and curious undergraduate engineers to join our paid 8-week Summer Internship Programme. This is an opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers and technologists on real projects that support the delivery and future development of Formula 1.

We are seeking students from a range of engineering and technical disciplines, including:

• Mechanical Engineering
• Electronic & Electrical Engineering
• Software Engineering
• Computer Science
• Data Science & Analytics
• Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning
• Systems Engineering
• Other related STEM subjects

Successful candidates will work on meaningful projects that may involve designing and testing systems, developing software, analysing data, exploring new technologies, or helping shape future connectivity, sensing, and simulation systems.

We're looking for students who are:

• Currently studying towards a STEM degree and entering their penultimate or final year of university
• Have a strong academic foundation in their chosen discipline
• Curious, analytical and eager to learn
• Strong problem-solvers who enjoy tackling complex challenge
• Proactive and self-motivated, with the confidence to take on challenges and ask questions
• Passionate about engineering, technology and innovation

Whether your interests lie in hardware, software, data, AI/ML, or emerging technologies, this programme offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, collaborative and world-class engineering environment.

Duration: 8 weeks (Summer 2027 - July & August)

Compensation: This is a paid internship programme
