An Engineering Lead at Precis is a senior technical leader responsible for driving the success of engineering projects and teams. They possess deep expertise in software development, architecture, and leadership, and are recognized as experts in their field.

One of our most exciting products is Alvie, a cutting-edge SaaS platform for performance marketing optimization. Designed to deliver data-driven insights for e-commerce, B2C, and other companies, Alvie helps businesses fine-tune marketing strategies with precision. In addition to scaling Alvie, we’re constantly building and developing new features, AI-driven workflows, and data capabilities to help clients maximize their marketing investments.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING 💼

• Lead software projects from inception to delivery, overseeing project planning, execution, and delivery, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

• Manage and mentor engineering teams, providing guidance, support, and coaching to help team members grow and excel in their roles.

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define technical requirements, prioritize features, and drive product roadmap initiatives.

• Act as a technical advisor and subject matter expert, providing guidance and support on critical technical decisions, architecture, and design.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence within the engineering organization.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR ✔️

• Mastery of relevant programming languages, frameworks, and technologies, with extensive experience in software development and architecture.

• Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex software projects, with a focus on quality, performance, and scalability.

• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and influence cross-functional teams.

• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving innovation, efficiency, and technical excellence.

• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development, with a passion for staying at the forefront of technology advancements and industry trends.

• Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript, alongside practical experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React and Next.js.

• Hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining applications and infrastructure optimized for media assets (storage, processing, delivery, or streaming).

• Familiarity and interest with modern developer ecosystems and AI tools (including LLMs, coding assistants, and automated pipelines) to streamline engineering practices.
