Tasks

As an Erasmus intern in our product department, your responsibilities will include:

  • Support the team in product design and user flow thinking
  • Analyze the needs, behavior, and feedback of our pilot users
  • Design and improve user flows for new and existing features
  • Investigate reported bugs from a UX and usability perspective
  • Map and document real user journeys based on actual usage
  • Define basic UI principles (spacing, buttons, forms, colors, feedback states)
  • Create reusable UI component examples for developers
  • Improve and rewrite unclear UI text and microcopy
  • Maintain clear UX and UI documentation for the team

Bring your UX/UI and human-centered design knowledge into the team and help us build strong product practices as an early-stage startup

Requirements

Ideal candidates for this Erasmus internship will have:

  • Eligibility to apply through the ** Erasmus** program (please note: internships in Austria are not allowed for students enrolled in Austrian universities under Erasmus rules)
  • first experience/passion in UX, UI, Interface, Human-Centered-Technology
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate in a small team
  • Proficiency in English (minimum B2 level; no certification required). Knowledge of German is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Punctuality, politeness, and a professional attitude
  • Preferably, you are studying in the field of Human–Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, User Experience (UX) Design, Human-Centered Design, Digital Product Design, Communication Design, Media Informatics, Business Informatics, Intormation Architecture or likewise.

  • Office location: Central Vienna (U3/U4/S-Bahn "Wien Mitte"/"Landstrasse")
  • Working hours: max. 30 hours per week (Monday–Thursday, starting at 9:00 AM, 30 minute lunch breaks)
  • Two vacation days per month
  • Office closed during Christmas and New Year’s holidays (~2 weeks)
