About Xaana.Ai:

Xaana.Ai is an Australian enterprise AI and ERP technology company building intelligent platforms that modernise how organisations operate, integrate systems and deliver services.

Our Turium platform combines ERP, artificial intelligence, workflow automation, data integration and secure sovereign cloud technology. We work with government agencies and large enterprises to modernise critical business systems while improving control, efficiency and user experience.

We are establishing a dedicated Australian ERP implementation practice spanning SAP S/4HANA and Turium ERP and are seeking an experienced practice leader to build and lead it.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced ERP Practice Lead to establish, grow and lead the SAP S/4HANA and Turium ERP implementation practice in Australia.

This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for practice strategy, program delivery, customer outcomes, team capability, commercial performance and market growth.

The successful candidate must have substantial hands-on leadership experience delivering SAP S/4HANA implementation programs. This is not a general ERP management role and candidates without strong S/4HANA implementation experience will not be considered.

You will lead complex implementation programs, build a high-performing ERP consulting team, establish delivery standards and work closely with customers, product leaders, architects and executive stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Practice Leadership

  • Establish and lead our Australian SAP S/4HANA and Turium ERP implementation practice.
  • Define the practice strategy, operating model, delivery methodology and capability roadmap.
  • Build a scalable national ERP consulting and delivery capability.
  • Recruit, mentor and lead project managers, solution architects, functional consultants, technical consultants, data specialists and integration specialists.
  • Establish clear delivery standards, quality gates, governance models and implementation playbooks.
  • Develop reusable implementation assets, accelerators, templates and preconfigured solutions.
  • Create a high-performance culture focused on ownership, delivery discipline and customer outcomes.

SAP S/4HANA Program Delivery

  • Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation, transformation, upgrade and migration programs.
  • Take accountability for scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, commercial performance and customer outcomes.
  • Lead greenfield, brownfield and selective data transition programs.
  • Oversee discovery, process design, solution architecture, configuration, integration, data migration, testing, cutover and stabilisation.
  • Ensure alignment with SAP clean-core principles and minimise unnecessary customisation.
  • Govern delivery across functional, technical, data, integration, security and change-management workstreams.
  • Identify delivery risks early and drive timely resolution of issues, dependencies and blockers.
  • Lead program recovery and remediation activities where implementations are under pressure.

Turium ERP Implementation

  • Lead the implementation of Turium ERP capabilities alongside or independently of SAP environments.
  • Work with Turium product and engineering teams to translate customer requirements into scalable product capabilities.
  • Guide the integration of Turium ERP with SAP S/4HANA, legacy platforms, cloud services and third-party applications.
  • Support the development of Turium ERP implementation standards, accelerators and reference architectures.
  • Ensure customer feedback and implementation experience inform the Turium ERP product roadmap.

Solution and Architecture Oversight

  • Work closely with enterprise architects, solution architects and functional leads to ensure solutions are achievable, scalable and supportable.
  • Validate solution designs, implementation approaches and technical dependencies.
  • Ensure strong alignment between business processes, system configuration, integrations, data models and operating models.
  • Provide governance across SAP modules, integrations, data migration, reporting, security and controls.
  • Challenge overly complex designs and promote standardisation, configuration and sustainable architecture.

Client and Executive Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the senior ERP delivery and practice contact for customers.
  • Build trusted relationships with CIOs, CFOs, transformation executives, program sponsors and business leaders.
  • Lead steering committees, executive workshops, design decisions and delivery assurance reviews.
  • Communicate program progress, risks, decisions and recommendations clearly and directly.
  • Maintain customer confidence during complex implementation and transformation programs.
  • Manage expectations while protecting delivery quality and commercial outcomes.

Commercial and Market Growth

  • Support the growth of Turium’s ERP business across government and enterprise customers.
  • Lead or support proposals, tenders, estimates, implementation plans and statements of work.
  • Validate delivery scope, assumptions, timelines, resource models and commercial estimates.
  • Ensure delivery commitments are realistic, commercially sustainable and clearly documented.
  • Identify opportunities to expand SAP services, Turium ERP, integrations, automation, data and AI capabilities.
  • Develop relationships across the Australian SAP and enterprise technology market.
  • Support strategic partnerships with SAP, systems integrators and specialist delivery partners.

Delivery Assurance and Governance

  • Establish effective controls for scope, risk, issues, dependencies, financials and change requests.
  • Monitor program health and intervene early where delivery outcomes are at risk.
  • Ensure appropriate testing, data validation, security assurance, cutover planning and operational readiness.
  • Establish clear reporting across delivery performance, financial performance, resource utilisation and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure implementation documentation is complete, accurate and auditable.
  • Incorporate lessons learned and delivery insights into future programs and practice standards.

Mandatory Experience

Candidates must demonstrate:

  • Extensive experience leading SAP S/4HANA implementation programs.
  • Proven delivery experience across at least one full end-to-end S/4HANA implementation lifecycle.
  • Strong knowledge of S/4HANA program delivery, solution design, configuration, integration, data migration, testing, cutover and post-go-live support.
  • Experience leading greenfield, brownfield or selective data transition programs.
  • Experience managing complex ERP programs involving multiple workstreams, vendors and business functions.
  • Strong understanding of SAP Activate and enterprise implementation governance.
  • Experience leading functional, technical, data, integration and project delivery teams.
  • Proven responsibility for program budgets, commercial performance, contractual commitments and customer outcomes.
  • Strong executive stakeholder and steering committee management experience.

  • data migration and data quality;
  • testing and defect management;
  • security and role design;
  • cutover and deployment planning;
  • hypercare and operational transition; and
  • program governance and delivery assurance.

Highly Desirable Experience

  • Experience across SAP Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Asset Management, HR or Payroll.
  • Experience with SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite or SAP Cloud ALM.
  • Experience integrating S/4HANA with SaaS, data, AI and automation platforms.
  • Experience delivering ERP programs within Australian Government.
  • Understanding of Australian Government security, privacy, procurement and assurance requirements.
  • Experience with sovereign cloud or protected government environments.
  • Experience working within a product-led enterprise technology company.
  • Existing relationships across the Australian SAP, government or enterprise technology market.

Leadership Attributes

We are looking for someone who:

  • takes full ownership of practice and delivery outcomes;
  • combines deep SAP S/4HANA experience with strong commercial leadership;
  • can build a practice, not just manage individual projects;
  • remains calm and decisive under pressure;
  • communicates issues early and honestly;
  • moves comfortably between executive strategy and detailed program execution;
  • builds strong, accountable and high-performing teams;
  • challenges complexity and unnecessary customisation;
  • protects quality without slowing down execution;
  • is commercially disciplined and customer focused; and
  • is motivated to build a major Australian ERP and enterprise technology practice.

Qualifications

  • Degree in business, information technology, engineering or a related discipline.
  • SAP S/4HANA certification is MUST.

Experience working with Australian Government customers is highly regarded.
