Estimator / Project Manager
Growing manufacturer of heavy equipment components is seeking a Project Manager/Estimator to handle manufacturing projects.
Estimator to manage metal forming and fabrication projects, working with clients to determine specifications, coordinate with engineering and production, and build cost and timeline estimates.
Responsibilities will include:
- Working with clients to determine needs
- Reverse engineer components for manufacture
- Prepare quantity takeoffs for projects
- Prepare cost estimates for material, labor and equipment
- Prepare proposals for jobs
- Oversee CAD drafters developing project drawings and documents
- Order and expedite material purchases
- Schedule fabrication operations
- Work with Plant Manager to coordinate manufacturing
Qualifications
- 3-5 yrs.+ in a manufacturing environments
- ASME, BSME or equivalent experience preferred
- Ability to read blueprints
- Knowledge of fabication & manufactirng equipment (cutting, welding, forming, etc.)
- Strong math skills
- Excellent written & oral communication skills
- U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder
