Events Manager

At Carlton Cannes, a Regent Hotel, we are looking for an Event Manager to join our Conventions & Banquets team.

Reporting to the Director of Events, you will manage the planning, coordination and execution of events, conventions, meetings and banquets, working closely with clients, operational teams and partners to deliver seamless and memorable experiences.

A hands-on and operational role, ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the teams, anticipating needs, solving challenges and making things happen.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Manage event files from planning through to execution, ensuring a seamless client experience.

• Coordinate closely with all operational teams to ensure flawless delivery.

• Conduct site inspections and translate client expectations into clear operational plans.

• Monitor client satisfaction, event profitability and service quality.

• Identify opportunities to maximise revenue and develop our banquet business.

• Anticipate challenges and provide proactive, effective solutions.

• Build strong relationships with clients, teams and partners.

Profile & Mindset

• Significant experience in event management, ideally within luxury hospitality.

• Proven experience with conventions, corporate events and/or banquets.

• Strong commercial acumen and a genuine client-oriented mindset.

• Dynamic, hands-on and highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Excellent relationship with operational teams and a strong team spirit.

• A genuine passion for client satisfaction and collective success.

• Knowledge of Delphi is a strong advantage.

• Fluent English is essential; professional French is required.

• Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
