Responsibilities

The Executive Assistant is the supportive force that empowers our senior leadership and represents their position/office at Community Health System both internally and externally. Responsibilities include, being a proactive problem solver with exceptional communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, performing administrative duties, and providing support to senior leadership. Given the changing nature of Healthcare, the Executive Assistant is relied upon to be flexible in their duties, have the foresight to act as a partner to their Executive, and have the ability to maintain confidences related to high-level systems and operations.

Qualifications

Education

  • Associate's Degree in Business Administration or secretarial college level coursework required
  • High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate and 2 years of related experience may be substituted for Associate's Degree

Experience

  • 5 years of advanced secretarial/administrative experience required
  • Work experience in the healthcare industry or healthcare setting preferred
