Executive Director, The Seeds of Giving

Danos Expectation

The Seeds of Giving is Danos' community investment and employee engagement initiative, rooted in Danos' purpose: Honor God. Develop great people to solve big challenges. Grounded in Matthew 25:35-36, 40, Seeds of Giving helps Danos care for people, strengthen communities, and mobilize team members to serve others.

The Executive Director will lead and strengthen Seeds of Giving as a trusted, purpose-centered, relational, and operational leader across Danos. This is a shepherding and building role for someone who can influence hearts and minds, model servant leadership, build authentic relationships, and turn purpose into practical action and measurable impact.

Reporting & Key Relationships

The Executive Director will report to the Seeds of Giving family lead and work closely with the Seeds of Giving Committee, Danos leadership, employees, nonprofit partners, customers, and community stakeholders. This role requires trust, discretion, and credibility to serve as a compassionate and confidential presence at every level.

Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

• Provide purpose-centered and relational leadership: Encourage reflection, service, connection, and care for others as a visible, trusted presence across Danos.

• Lead and represent Seeds of Giving: Serve as the primary ambassador for its purpose, programs, and impact.

• Build trusted relationships: Develop deep trust with employees, nonprofit partners, customers, and community stakeholders.

• Strengthen culture and employee care: Support employee needs, encourage service, foster connection, and reinforce generosity, compassion, service, and commitment.

• Steward giving and impact: Manage charitable giving, partner accountability, impact tracking, and transparent reporting.

• Equip and mobilize others to serve: Work with leaders, volunteers, and partners to create opportunities for employees to connect with community needs.

• Communicate stories of impact: Capture and share stories of generosity, service, employee care, and community impact.

• Able to connect Seeds of Giving's work to Danos' purpose and guiding principles.

• Capable of leading teams, influencing without formal authority, managing details, and aligning people around shared purpose.

• Growth in opportunities for reflection, purpose-centered conversations, and connection across Seeds of Giving programs.

• Stronger employee trust in Seeds of Giving as a place of care, support, service, and connection.

• Stronger relationships with nonprofit partners, customers, community leaders, and internal ambassadors.

• Clear reporting on funds invested, people served, volunteer hours, stories of impact, and measurable outcomes.

• A visible strengthening of Danos' culture of generosity, compassion, service, commitment, and care for others.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in business, nonprofit management, communications, ministry, or related field.

• 7-10 years of leadership experience in nonprofit work, community engagement, employee care, business, communications, ministry, or related areas.

• Experience managing relationships, teams, programs, budgets, volunteers, or community partnerships.

• Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, team leadership, and storytelling skills.

• Ability to handle sensitive conversations with humility, discretion, sound judgment, and alignment with Danos' purpose and culture.
