📩 Job Title: Executive of Compliance

📍 Location: Kuala Lumpur (Hybrid)

🏢 Department: Compliance

Responsible for supports the implementation and monitoring of the organization’s compliance framework to ensure adherence to applicable regulatory requirements within the payments industry. The role involves assisting in regulatory reporting, compliance reviews, risk assessments, and internal control monitoring under the supervision of senior compliance personnel.

Onboarding

• Client Onboarding - Collect, verify, and process customer/business documentation.
• Due Diligence - Conduct checks against sanctions lists, PEP databases, and adverse media.
• Data Entry & Validation - Ensure accurate input of client information into compliance systems.
• Case Management - Identify and flag suspicious activities accurately; Investigate alerts, document findings, and escalate high-risk cases/suspicious activity appropriately to Team Lead.
• Customer Interaction - Communicate with stakeholders across functions to obtain missing documents or clarifications.
  

Compliance Support

• Support periodic compliance reviews, risk assessments, and internal audits to identify potential compliance gaps.
• Assist in preparing regulatory filings, reports, and documentation required by regulatory authorities.
• Maintain proper documentation and records for compliance monitoring and audit purposes.
• Support cross-functional teams (Operations, Product, Technology, etc.) by providing basic compliance guidance during product development and process enhancements.
• Assist in conducting compliance training sessions and awareness programs for staff.
• Support investigations related to compliance issues and help track corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor transactions or activities (if applicable) to identify potential compliance risks or regulatory breaches.
  
  
  Transaction Monitoring
• Transaction monitoring - Perform pre and post transaction monitoring for payment flows
• Pre-Transaction Monitoring: Review incoming/outgoing cases and wire templates for potential risks.
• Post-Transaction Monitoring: Conduct thorough reviews of past trades for compliance.
• KYC Renewal - Support KYC refresh and client due diligence processes as needed; update client details and ensure compliance with documentation requirements.
• Collaboration - Work closely with other compliance units, sales, and operations teams to resolve issues and maintain standards.
• Perform any other related duties that may be assigned by the Management from time to time.
