Responsibilities
This is a data engineering role at its core. You will own the backend data architecture for a large geospatial imagery program, building and maintaining the pipelines that move data across security domains, platforms, and systems. The work is hands-on and operational. If you have spent time building data infrastructure in IC or DoD environments and know how to get data moving across domains without breaking things downstream, this role will feel familiar. Note: this is not a research or modeling position. The job is keeping the data infrastructure running and scaling.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- 4+ years building and maintaining SQL and/or NoSQL databases in cloud environments
- Proven experience developing, monitoring, and sustaining operational data pipelines across multiple data formats and interfaces
- Experience using APIs to query systems and move data between platforms
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or Java for pipeline development
- Ability to explain technical architecture clearly to both engineers and non-technical government customers
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with government ATO processes and Non-Person Entity (NPE) certificate management
- Familiarity with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework for Enterprise)
- Experience building visualizations to monitor pipeline health, data availability, and volumetrics

- The expected salary range within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $165,000-$193,812. Final compensation is unique to each individual and will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, geographic location, and contractual requirements. This is not a guarantee.
