Summary of Job Duties:

The position leads and executes targeted, high-priority initiatives that support STRIVE’s overall mission and operational goals. This role is responsible for end-to-end project coordination, creating versatile framework materials, leading key organizational overhauls in collaboration with institutional partners like the UA Little Rock Department of Communications, and executing strategic initiatives that highlight the achievements of STRIVE participants, educators, and business partners. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency policy.

Qualifications:

Required Education and/or Experience:

• Participation in the STRIVE program.

Preferred Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree and three or more years of educational experience;
• Experience in designing and implementing lesson plans to incorporate the use of Backward Design;
• Experience in teaching STEM skills to Jr. High or High School students (Grades 7-12);
• Experience in vetting business partners for the STRIVE program;
• Understanding of the Arkansas Department of Education licensure requirements.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead planning and coordination for assigned special projects from initiation through completion;
• Assess current program needs, evaluate existing workflows, and develop comprehensive strategic plans of action to guide project execution and continuous improvement;
• Create templates and standardized processes to support STRIVE initiatives;
• Direct organizational and operational updates, ensuring project deliverables align with STRIVE goals;
• Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and key outcomes to ensure milestones are met on schedule.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of of STRIVE Goals;
• Can effectively use design tools to create STRIVE content;
• Can network effectively within the teachers and industry to promote STRIVE goals;
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively;
• Ability to creatively solve problems;
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with supervisors;
• Ability to effectively work independently with minimal supervision.
