Extrusion Line Operator – 3rd Shift
AI Summary
Operates extrusion machinery on the 3rd shift, producing custom plastic extrusions, troubleshooting equipment, and maintaining quality and attendance standards.
About this role
Operators on our 3rd shift (midnight to 8:00 AM) earn $19 to $21/hr, plus $100 every two weeks for good attendance. That's base pay ($17/hr to start, $18 at 6 months, $19 at 12 months) plus a $2/hr 3rd-shift premium. Two 15-minute breaks, eight hours on the clock, with overtime on occasion. We run three 8-hour shifts, around the clock Monday through Friday. We make custom plastic extrusions for customers across the country, and we train our own operators. Nobody walks in the door knowing this job. It takes troubleshooting, attention, and dependability, not prior experience. You won't be doing the same thing hour after hour.
Benefits: Aetna medical (4 plans to choose from), MetLife dental, vision, and a 401(k) where you put in 5% and we add 4% — yours immediately, fully vested. Paid holidays and vacation.
Family-owned and locally run since 1990. Decisions about this plant get made in Fitzgerald, by people who live here too.
Please apply to only your primary shift preference. The application asks which other shifts you can work, so there's no need to apply more than once.
