We’re growing and looking for a skilled, creative Fabricator to join our busy Truck Shop in E. Yaphank, NY.

What You’ll Do

• Fabricate a variety of metal components and structures from sketches, drawings, and verbal instructions
• Perform custom fabrication and installation projects on fire apparatus and specialty vehicles
• Cut, fit, layout, position, align, and secure parts prior to assembly
• Perform high-quality MIG and TIG welding on aluminum, stainless steel, and mild steel (sheet metal to structural)
• Weld in flat, vertical, and overhead positions
• Operate shop equipment including shear, brake, horizontal band saw, bench-top disc sander, and related fabrication tools
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace

What You Bring

• Strong MIG & TIG welding experience (aluminum, stainless steel, and steel required)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Solid math skills and accurate measurement conversions
• Ability to work independently with a positive, can-do attitude
• Professional communication skills
• Consistent ability to produce clean, high-quality welds
• Own hand and air tools

Position Details

• Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• $25–$40 per hour (DOE)
