Facilities and Fleet Cleaner - Birkenhead

The Opportunity

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Facilities & Fleet Cleaner to join Team Ritchies on a permanent basis.

Working across our Birkenhead and Kawana depots on Auckland's North Shore, you'll play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe and professional environment for our people and our passengers. This hands-on role involves cleaning both our fleet and depot facilities, ensuring high standards are maintained across our operation.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Interior cleaning of buses
• Vacuuming, mopping, and general vehicle presentation
• Cleaning windows, seats, and surfaces
• Removing rubbish and maintaining cleanliness standards across the fleet
• Cleaning depot facilities, including offices, lunchrooms, bathrooms, and common areas
• Replenishing cleaning and hygiene supplies as required
• Supporting a clean, safe, and organised depot environment

Hours of Work

• Fixed shift: 9:00am to 3:30pm
• 30 hours per week

About You

You are someone who takes pride in your work and enjoys keeping things clean, organised, and well-presented. You have a positive attitude, a strong work ethic and are comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

• Excellent attention to detail
• A reliable and punctual approach to work
• Good time management skills
• The ability to work independently
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• The physical fitness required to undertake cleaning duties
• A full New Zealand Class 2 driver's licence as you will be moving buses around the yard

Previous cleaning experience is advantageous but not essential
