Requirements:

Qualifications & Experience:

Grade 12 plus an N6 certificate or NCV Level 4 qualification in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building/Construction, Property/Operations Management, Office Administration, or a related field.

• Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.

• Excellent time management and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to coordinate and follow up with contractors and service providers.
• Data capturing, interpretation and reporting skills.
• Basic understanding of facilities management, building operations, maintenance and OHS.
• Proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and willingness to learn.

Key responsibilities:

• Collect, capture, collate, analyse and present Facilities-related operational data to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Assist with the administration and operation of Facilities systems, including access control, CCTV monitoring, maintenance/helpdesk systems, finance and procurement portals, and other relevant platforms.
• Assist with the planning, coordination and execution of Facilities projects, office moves, space changes and other building-related initiatives.
• Assist with physical inspections and maintenance activities across the building, including identifying and reporting issues relating to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, general building maintenance and office infrastructure.
• Assist with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) compliance, including inspections, documentation, incident reporting, compliance records and corrective actions.
• Liaise with internal clients, contractors and service providers to coordinate maintenance, repairs, services and Facilities-related requests.
• Assist with obtaining and comparing supplier quotations, creating purchase requisitions and issuing purchase orders in accordance with company processes.
• Support the development, review and maintenance of SOPs, checklists, registers, compliance records and other Facilities documentation, while participating in problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.

This is an 18-month contract position
