Facility Maintenance- The Fillmore (Part-Time)

Job Summary:

This role will assist the Facility Maintenance Manager with the daily maintenance, safety, and compliance of the property, helping ensure a safe, clean, functional environment for all employees and guests.

Core Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the janitorial crew.
• Manage and maintain the preventive maintenance schedule.
• Perform minor repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Coordinate and supervise external contractors and service providers.
• Collect bids, review proposals, and help ensure routine contract maintenance is scheduled and completed.
• Monitor maintenance, repair, and supply budgets; track inventory and physical resources.
• Inspect and maintain fire-safety equipment and related records.
• Help identify facility issues and communicate maintenance needs to the Facility Maintenance Manager and General Manager.

Qualifications

• Dependable, hardworking, and able to work independently.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and vendor-negotiation skills.
• Ability to perform minor building repairs.
• Proficiency with common computer tools, including Microsoft Office, Airtable, Google Drive, and Box preferred.
• Familiarity with building systems, public-assembly requirements, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and fire-safety systems is preferred, but not required.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to regularly move throughout the work site; climb stairs and ladders; and lift up to 50 pounds.

The expected compensation for this position is:

$21.60 USD - $27.00 USD Hourly
