About this role
As a technical building manager, you are responsible for keeping our company buildings (head office, production site, and external office location) and all related facilities running smoothly and efficiently. You combine hands-on experience with organizational insight.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for the optimal functioning of the three locations through maintenance, budget management, and day-to-day supervision.
Performing minor maintenance and repairs on buildings, installations, and furniture.
Supervising and coordinating external technicians for both routine maintenance and larger maintenance, repair, or renovation projects.
Monitoring technical systems and identifying the need for improvements or preventive maintenance.
Supervising facility services like security, maintenance, cleaning, and waste management.
Ensuring proper functioning of access and security systems such as fences, alarm systems, and surveillance cameras.
Keeping the building safe, orderly, and clean, including managing personal protective equipment.
Organizing adequate company emergency response.
Contributing to efficient collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

Requirements
Required Background:
Practical technical knowledge and experience with maintenance and repairs.
Experienced in managing external service providers or technicians.
Problem-solving skills and independence.
Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
Forklift certificate or willingness to obtain one.
Able to communicate (spoken and written) in both Dutch and English.
Security & Compliance:
You'll be working with clients in the defense and security sectors, obtaining a Certificate of No Objection issued by the AIVD (Dutch General Intelligence and Security Service) is mandatory.
