Facility Officer

As Facility Officer, you are responsible for the day-to-day operations of our facilities. You ensure that our buildings, technical installations and facility services are properly maintained and functioning efficiently. Combining technical knowledge with a hands-on approach, you play a key role in supporting a safe and well-organized working environment.

Your responsibilities

• Manage and follow up on the daily facility operations across our sites.

• Follow up on the maintenance and operation of building installations such as HVAC, electricity, access control systems and other technical infrastructure.

• Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance activities are carried out correctly and on time.

• Act as the point of contact for internal stakeholders and external service providers.

• Coordinate and follow up on facility services including building maintenance, cleaning and green area maintenance.

• Support operational tasks and technical interventions when needed.

• Keep facility-related administration and documentation up to date.

• Work closely with the Facility Manager and Facility Technician to ensure all facilities remain safe, functional and well maintained.

Requirements

Your profile

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent through experience.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical or facility-related role.

• Good technical knowledge of building installations such as HVAC, electrical systems and related infrastructure.

• Hands-on mentality and willing to actively support operational activities when necessary.

• Able to combine technical fieldwork with administrative follow-up and documentation.

• Strong problem-solving skills and able to set the right priorities in a dynamic environment.

• Capable of making decisions independently when required and able to remain calm under pressure.

• Flexible attitude and willing to handle occasional interventions outside normal working hours.

• Team player with good communication skills and a service-oriented mindset.

• Good knowledge of Dutch and English. Knowledge of French is a plus.

• Experience with MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is an asset.
