POSITION STRUCTURE
Reports To: Facility and Operations Manager
Category: Part−Time Hourly

Work Schedule:
Two days per week, Monday through Thursday (days vary); 5:30–9:30 p.m. (approx. 4 hrs/day); some Saturdays and every Sunday, 8:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. (approx. 6 hrs); variable up to 28 hrs/week | On-Site

POSITION SUMMARY
The Facility Support Coordinator role ensures that every guest experience at Soul City Church is safe, welcoming, and smooth. This position exists to uphold Soul City’s standard of excellence in hospitality and operations while completing walkthroughs that keep our spaces ready for ministry. This role is often the last team member in the building on weekdays and a key support presence on weekends. It involves locking up, resetting rooms, flagging issues, and helping ensure that our environments are well-prepared for both weekday and weekend ministry needs. Working under the direction of the Facility and Operations Manager, this role brings excellence, efficiency, and reliability to Soul City's infrastructure.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • 35% Room Setup & Reset - Complete room flips, setups, and resets for ministry programs, events, and meetings.
  • 25% Hospitality & Event Presence - Be a welcoming and helpful presence in the lobby and common spaces during ministry events.
  • 20% Checklists & Building Close - Execute facilities checklist: lights, locks, tidiness, cover terrace furniture, water plants, start and empty the staff dishwasher, etc. Communicate building-related issues and next-day needs to the Facilities Manager.
  • 20% Weekend Team Support - Support hospitality teams on Sundays including parking and flip teams. May support Saturday building events as needed.

Experience

  • 1+ year in hospitality, facilities, or event environments
