The Open Home Foundation (OHF) is a Christian Community Response and has a vision that every child and young person has the opportunity to grow up in a secure, loving family and receive a depth of care which will bless them throughout their lives.
An important part of our work is arranging and overseeing opportunities for whānau to have positive and productive visits with their children who are unable to live with them. These visits are generally called supervised contact.
The successful applicant will:
Complete supervised whānau visits assessments and reports
Work with whānau to schedule visits
Schedule visits and staff who will supervise those visits.
Maintain case files and upload visit reports.
Support and train visit supervisors
Supervise visits for whānau as necessary.
Liaise with professionals including Oranga Tamariki social workers, lawyers, and Family Court
The successful applicant will have:
A social work qualification - beneficial but not essential
Strong administrative skills and skills working with children and families.
This is a 10 hour/week role.
