F&D Supervisor

To supervise the daily operations of the Food & Beverage department, ensuring excellent guest service, efficient service delivery, compliance with hotel policies and procedures, and achievement of departmental revenue and quality targets.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

Education

• O'level certificate
• Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Food & Beverage Management, or a related field is advantageous.

Experience

• 2-3 years' experience in a Food & Beverage operation
• At least 1 year in a supervisory or team leadership role preferred
• Experience in a hotel, restaurant, resort, or hospitality environment
• Proficiency in POS systems and Microsoft Office applications

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of food and beverage team during assigned shifts
• Ensure smooth operation of restaurants, bars, room service, banqueting, and other F&B outlets
• Monitor service standards and ensure guests receive prompt, professional, and courteous service
• Conduct pre-shift briefings and communicate daily operational requirements
• Ensure all opening, operating, and closing procedures are completed correctly
• Respond promptly to guest complaints and resolve issues professionally
• Allocate duties and monitor team member productivity throughout shifts
• Train new team members on service standards, company policies, and operational procedures
• Assist with ordering, receiving, and storing food and beverage products
• Reduce wastage through effective stock control and portion management
• Ensure accurate recording of sales and inventory transactions
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations

• Report maintenance issues and safety hazards promptly
