About the Position

Title: - Field Application Engineer

Experience:- 2 to 9yrs

Location:- Pune

Qualification: Graduate in Engineering, preferably Mechanical/Production/Structural Engineering or equivalent from a reputed college. Post Graduate qualification would be an added advantage.

Job Description: Field Application Engineer for supporting pre-sales and post-sales activities of Products Portfolio which includes various Embedded Tools and Solutions.

Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience

Location: Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam and Pune

Prerequisites

· Good Knowledge of more than one type of 8/16/32/ 64 - bit processors architecture.

· Good programming knowledge in C, C++ and Assembly languages.

· Good Understanding of Embedded Software Development.

· Good Understanding of RTOS and Real-time embedded systems development.

· Good Understanding of Embedded Linux operating system and BSPs.

· Understanding of boot- loaders.

· Understanding of debugging, tracing tools and test and measurement tools.

· Self- motivated and disciplined.

· Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills.

· Ability to work with multiple groups at different locations.

· Must be detail oriented with strong customer service skills.

· Willingness to travel to customer sites to help on solving customer problems.

Desirable

o Intel/ARM Architectures.

o Embedded Linux/ RT-Linux and board support packages(BSP).

o RTOS and Embedded Middleware.

o Debugging concepts and methodologies.

Job Profile

· Effectively position products against the competition by demonstrating product capabilities .

· Participate in developing strategies for business growth.

· Support the demand creation for the products.

· Strategize customer engagements along with sales and deliver assigned goals.

· Pre- sales technical presentations and provide creative, thorough and practical problem resolution specific to customer needs.

· Customer Trainings.

· Co- ordinate technical support activities with sales and technical teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Educational Qualification: B. E, B.Tech, M.Sc, M.S, M.E, M.Tech (Embedded Systems /Electronics/ Communication/ Instrumentation/ Electrical/ Computer Science).
