Field Network Technician (Starlink & Communications)

Are you mechanically inclined, comfortable working outdoors, and interested in technology, networking, internet systems, and telecommunications? EnerStar Solutions is looking for a Field Network Technician (Starlink & Communications) to install, maintain, and troubleshoot communications systems that support remote worksites throughout Montana and surrounding regions. In this hands-on field role, you'll work with Starlink satellite internet systems, wireless networks, LTE equipment, cameras, routers, antennas, and remote monitoring technology.

Whether you have experience in telecommunications, internet installation, cable systems, networking, satellite communications, low-voltage systems, or a related technical trade, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do

As a Field Network Technician, you will:

• Install and support Starlink satellite internet systems
• Deploy and troubleshoot LTE and wireless communication equipment
• Configure routers, switches, access points, and networking hardware
• Install and support remote monitoring and camera systems
• Respond to service calls and field work orders
• Set up and relocate communications equipment at customer locations
• Assist with communications tower and signal booster installations
• Perform equipment maintenance, inspections, and repairs
• Work closely with operations, logistics, and field personnel
• Complete service documentation, equipment reports, and inventory records
• Support customers by resolving technical issues and ensuring reliable connectivity in remote locations.

What We're Looking For

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Willingness to travel and occasionally stay overnight as required
• Basic computer skills
• Strong work ethic and desire to learn technical systems.

Training & Development

Physical Requirements

This is an active field position that requires:
