Field Service Engineer II

Description

• Performing a variety of complex technical functions in support of engineering activities such as design, test, checkout, modification, fabrication, and assembly of electronic and electro-mechanical systems
• Participating in experimental design, circuitry design, and prototype models
• Participating in system design, fabrication, integration, and testing of electronic circuits and mechanical devices
• Performing on-site installation, troubleshooting, and testing of company products and equipment
• Providing technical support to customers on operational/maintenance aspects of system equipment
• Updating system drawings and making recommendations for upgrades as appropriate
• Training and mentoring junior team members
• Participating in establishing production best practices

Requirements

• Four or more years of experience with basic computer & networking skills, electronics/electrical knowledge, mechanical aptitude, and cable fabrication

Desired Skills

• Prefer IPC-620 & IPC J-STD Certification
• Formal electronics training
• Cable fabrication training
• Basic electricity knowledge
• Integration knowledge
• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to lead a team
• Ability to train personnel
• Knowledgeable in Production best practices

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET / SCI LEVEL
