Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations of the accounting function, including general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Supervise the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses for management and regulatory purposes.
Ensure accounting records are maintained accurately and in compliance with US GAAP and internal policies.
Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities and ensure timely reporting.
Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, systems, and tools, and lead related initiatives.
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external auditors and regulatory agencies.
Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance management for accounting staff.
Collaborate with finance and business partners to support operational and strategic objectives.
Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes as needed.

Typical Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including prior leadership experience.
Demonstrated success managing accounting operations and implementing process improvements.

The base pay range for this position is between $130,000.00 to $150,000.00 annually. Base pay will depend on multiple individualized factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This range represents a good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting. Boston Dynamics offers a generous Benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and an annual bonus structure.
