About this role
We are looking for a talented and ambitious accountant to take on the role as Finance Manager with a company forming part of an international Corporate Group providing shared services and back-office support to affiliated companies.
This role is offered full-time, is based in Malta, and pays a salary of around €50K + benefits.
Reporting directly to the Finance Director, the Finance Manager will assume a hands-on role with responsibility for the day-to-day financial operations of one of ithe Group’s subsidiaries.
Role & Responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day end-to-end accounting operations
• Monitor cash flows, payments, and managing bank accounts
• Manage the calculation and reconciliation of gaming revenue, including the preparation of supporting schedules and the accurate recording of revenue-related transactions and invoices
• Perform and review reconciliations of PSPs
• Prepare and review gaming tax calculations and ensure the timely submission and settlement of all gaming tax obligations
• Prepare and submit all financial and regulatory reports required under the MGA licence, ensuring ongoing compliance with regulatory obligations
• Support MGA regulatory audits and inspections
• Prepare the monthly management accounts and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting
• Prepare VAT returns, Tax Returns and other regulatory filings
• Develop, implement, and maintain internal financial controls
• Assist with financial planning, including budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis
Education, Skills & Experience
• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent thereof
• 5 years’ experience of working with iGaming B2C financial reporting (MGA-licensed)
• Self-motivated with an ability to manage and prioritise own workload
• Fluent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to work in an office-based job in Malta, with hybrid flexibility
• Avaiable to work full-time
• Happy to work in a small team (only 4 in finance atm)
