Financial Accountant

What some of your day-to-day responsibilities will look like

• Conduct month end processing including general journal creation & entry and reporting
• Perform monthly reconciliations of general ledger, bank, and intercompany accounts
• Support forecasting and annual budgeting processes
• Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register
• Support audit requirements through timely and accurate data collation
• Prepare financial insights and reporting that support decision making across the group

About You

You'll have 4-5 years' experience in a similar accounting role within FMCG, as well as:

• CA/CPA qualified or currently working towards completion
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting and Aus Tax Laws
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
• High attention to detail with an agile mindset
• Proactive approach to identifying process improvement opportunities
• Experience using Microsoft Navision or comparable ERP system

We're seeking a Financial Accountant who is an FMCG guru to manage financial reporting, analysis and accounting compliance across the Vitality Brands group. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll be responsible for core accounting activities including managing financial performance, month end processes, balance sheet integrity and contribute to ongoing process improvements across the Finance team.

This is a full-time role based in Richmond with hybrid flexibility.
