Financial Controller

Key Responsibilities

• Own month-end close and reporting for one or more acquired entities
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and key journal entries
• Partner with local management to understand the business and explain results vs. budget and forecast
• Support budgeting, forecasting and earn-out tracking
• Book and maintain PPA entries; provide input for valuations and technical memos
• Handle audit requests and act as the auditors’ main contact for your entities
• Align local policies, processes and controls with corporate standards (incl. SOX where applicable)
• Coach local finance teams to improve close quality and timing

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• 10+ years of experience in accounting/controllership (Big 4 is a plus)
• CPA/ACCA or equivalent
• Strong US GAAP knowledge
• Hands-on close and multi-entity experience; M&A integration and ERP transition/integration is a plus
• Business-minded, comfortable working with non-finance people
