Main Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day accounting activities including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger.

• Ensure timely month-end and year-end close processes. Prepare monthly fin package with full analysis of the results.

• Manage cash flow planning and working capital.

• Implement and maintain strong internal controls.

• Implementing the company's ERP system Holded.

• Prepare yearly budget with coordination of all relevant departments.

• Lead end-to-end statutory audits with external audit firms.

• Own Spanish-specific tax compliance: Corporate Income Tax, VAT, withholding taxes, among others.

• Operate across a multi-entity environment comprising 15+ Spanish group companies.

• Supervise a 4-person accounting team.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field in SPAIN ; CPA required.

• 5–10+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

• Experience with financial reporting standards,audits , internal controls ,and compliance requirements.

• Experience with ERP systems and financial automation tools. ERP Experience - advantage

• Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

• Advanced Excel skills, including formula-driven financial modeling - advantage

• Experience in the hospitality/real estate sector and with related PMS and payment platforms - advantage

• Proven experience managing external auditors through a full statutory audit cycle - advantage.

Languages

• Fluent Spanish and excellent command of the English language is a must.
