Responsible for supporting the Captain and fishing operations by assisting with boat handling, fishing activities, equipment preparation, and general maintenance of the vessel. The crew member must ensure safe and efficient operations while providing good service to guests where required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Captain during fishing trips and boat operations.
• Prepare, handle, and maintain fishing rods, lines, nets, bait, and other equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of the boat, fishing equipment, and working areas.
• Assist with loading and unloading fishing equipment and supplies.
• Follow all safety procedures and instructions from the Captain.
• Report any equipment damage, safety concerns, or maintenance issues.
• Support basic boat maintenance and cleaning duties.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Captain or management.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a boat crew member or in fishing operations is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of fishing equipment and techniques.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physically fit and comfortable working at sea.
• Responsible, hardworking, and safety-conscious.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Valid boat crew certification or relevant maritime qualifications will be an advantage.
