Fleet Technician (Trade Shows & Events)

We’re looking for a Fleet Services Technician to join our team in Addison, IL and help keep the behind-the-scenes operation moving. In this hands-on role, you’ll prepare, inspect, pack, ship, receive, and maintain the small client assets and event materials that help bring experiences to life.

What You'll Do

• Pull, prepare, inspect, package, and ship client assets and event materials, including banner stands, pick-and-pack items, and other express orders.
• Assemble orders accurately from available inventory and verify that all items meet quality and shipping requirements.
• Receive and process incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring materials are handled accurately and efficiently.
• Check inventory and confirm product availability for upcoming orders.
• Work closely with the Fleet Services team to keep orders moving smoothly and meet deadlines.
• Provide expected delivery dates and shipment updates to the Fleet Services Coordinator.
• Organize shipping paperwork and maintain accurate documentation.
• Load and unload shipments using appropriate equipment, including forklifts and order pickers where required.
• Work independently to ensure express orders are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Support other Fleet Services responsibilities as needed and step in to provide backup across the team.

What We're Looking For

You’re someone who takes pride in getting the details right and following through. You can manage multiple priorities, stay organized, and keep things moving even when timelines are tight.

Ideally, you bring:

• A high school diploma or equivalent; a college or technical education is an asset.
• Approximately 6 months–1 year of related experience, training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in a warehouse, shipping/receiving, logistics, fulfillment, event production, or similar environment is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• The ability to follow written and verbal instructions and use good judgment when solving routine problems.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• The ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with coworkers, clients, and partners.
• Forklift/order picker experience is an asset.
