Flooring Carpenter

Aureol Global Connections is looking for an experienced Flooring Carpenter to join our skilled workforce. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of flooring including hardwood, laminate, and engineered wood. You will ensure the flooring is installed accurately with high-quality finishes, contributing to the overall aesthetic and functionality of the space. Responsibilities

• Prepare subfloors by cleaning and leveling surfaces prior to installation.
• Measure, cut, and install different types of flooring materials such as hardwood, laminate, and engineered wood.
• Ensure that flooring materials are fitted seamlessly and finishes meet client specifications.
• Repair or replace damaged flooring as required, maintaining structural integrity and appearance.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively during installation and repairs.
• Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to complete flooring projects on schedule.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, complying with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Flooring Carpenter or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of different flooring materials, installation techniques, and finishing processes.
• Ability to read and interpret flooring plans, blueprints, and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to handle flooring materials and tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and within a team.
• Familiarity with relevant health and safety standards.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites if necessary.
