The Opportunity!

The Food Prep Worker will provide routine food preparation behind the scenes and customer assistance services throughout the restaurant.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Assists with food preparation as directed, operating food production equipment as required to complete tasks.

Operates a food processor, vacuum sealer, meat/cheese slicer, juicer, and citrus machine to prepare specific items to be packaged for delivery.

Clears, cleans, and sanitizes all working areas and returns to the appropriate location in the kitchen area per task lists.

Maintains, cleans, and sanitizes workstations.

Follows all safety and sanitation guidelines and regulations to ensure quality food service.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Ability to read and follow instructions.

Good verbal communication skills.

Ability to operate cooking and food preparation equipment.

Understanding of proper food handling and sanitation procedures.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of standing and walking.

Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the working area.

Must be able to lift up to 25-50 pounds at times.

May be required to work in cold areas for short time periods in association with the kitchen environment.
