Forklift Driver- Manufacturing

Location: Sterling Heights, MI — near 18 Mile Rd. & Van Dyke Ave.
Industry: Tier 1 Automotive Manufacturing

We are currently hiring Forklift Operators to join our team at a Tier 1 automotive manufacturing facility in Sterling Heights. Candidates must be dependable, safety-focused, and able to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Available Shifts & Pay

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM–2:30 PM — $17.50/hour ($1.50 Raise after 90 days)
• Monday–Friday
• Weekends and overtime may be required based on production needs
• 2nd Shift: 1:00 PM–9:00 PM — ($1.50 Raise after 90 days)
• $17.50/hour base pay + $0.75 shift premium
• Weekends and overtime may be required based on production needs
• 3rd Shift: 6:00 PM–2:30 AM — ($1.50 Raise after 90 days)
• $17.50/hour base pay + $1.50 shift premium
• Weekends and overtime may be required based on production needs

Job Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to move automotive parts and materials throughout the facility
• Load, unload, stage, and transport materials as directed
• Supply production lines with necessary materials
• Inspect materials and loads for damage
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform daily forklift inspections
• Work efficiently to support production requirements

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a national background check
• Previous forklift experience preferred
• Ability to safely operate a forklift in a busy manufacturing environment
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions
• Automotive or manufacturing experience is a plus
