About the role:

As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will drive the on-the-ground implementation of our Enterprise AI products to completely reimagine the global supply chain. This is a highly customer-facing, builder-first role that demands a rigorous balance of strategic client partnership, and tactical, hands-on execution—writing code to develop customer-specific product extensions, build tailored solutions for unique user needs, develop robust customer data ingestion pipelines, and architect seamless integrations. Sitting shoulder-to-shoulder with daily end-users and enterprise IT, you will drive 10X economic impact by turning messy operational realities into scalable software. Acting as the engineering vanguard on the front lines, you will directly drive core platform evolution based on ground-truth realities, while extensively leveraging AI to de-bottleneck deployments and ensure rapid, frictionless launches.

How you will have 10X impact:

• Own the end-to-end technical deployment of our Enterprise AI products, acting as the definitive on-site engineering authority to deliver AI-native capabilities that transform global supply chains.
• Architect and build technical integrations, connecting or entirely replacing legacy enterprise systems via robust bi-directional data pipelines, APIs, and agent-to-agent communication.
• Navigate complex enterprise IT environments to deploy our AI platform, orchestrating rollouts across diverse cloud, hybrid, and agentic architectures to get our software live and into users' hands.
• Partner directly with clients, end-users, and IT on the ground to translate messy operational supply chain realities into concrete engineering tasks and AI-native workflows.
• Code immediate, customer-specific product adaptations, balancing rapid hands-on execution with active Platform Engineering collaboration to shape core capabilities using field realities.
• Proactively clear technical, security, and adoption hurdles, extensively leveraging AI alongside client IT teams to debottleneck the deployment process and rapidly accelerate rollout.
• Codify field solutions into reusable deployment playbooks and software blocks, bridging high-agency on-site execution with scalable core platform engineering rather than delivering one-off tweaks.

What you should have:

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent highly technical practical experience.
• 6+ years in customer-facing engineering or forward deployed roles, with a proven track record of owning hands-on technical delivery, system integrations, and implementation of AI or sophisticated SaaS.
• Practical experience with prompt engineering, building agentic workflows, and wiring up LLMs to external systems (via function calling, APIs, or MCPs) to solve complex reasoning, routing, and automation tasks in production.
• Production-grade Python or TypeScript for complex system integration, building bidirectional data pipelines to sync data and systematically strangle messy legacy systems.
• Demonstrated ability to own high-stakes technical deployments from end to end, driving rapid engineering decisions and aligning a variety of stakeholders.
• High agency in environments with high velocity, ambiguity, and minimal supervision.

It’d be great if you also had these:

• Practical experience working within supply chains, procurement, or new product development.
• Advanced technical, business, or SCM degree.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $197,000 - $285,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
