Founding Technical Partnerships Lead

About the Role

This is a founding role at an early-stage AI infrastructure company building data and evaluation tooling for frontier AI labs. You will be the primary bridge between the technical team and the researchers and ML leaders at the world's most advanced AI organizations, owning partnerships end-to-end and helping shape how the company engages with its most important customers.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain relationships with researchers and technical leaders at frontier AI labs to surface priorities and constraints.

• Identify technical needs across post-training, evaluations, agents, and scientific data domains.

• Translate requirements from ML researchers into concrete dataset designs, experimental plans, and evaluation frameworks.

• Feed customer insights and feedback directly into the ML and product roadmap.

• Define go-to-market strategy and positioning for partnerships with advanced AI teams.

• Own the partnerships function and lay the foundation to grow and lead a team over time.

What We're Looking For

• 3 or more years in AI partnerships, business development, or research-facing roles at AI labs, technical AI startups, or frontier research organizations.

• Demonstrated experience selling datasets or data products to frontier AI labs or research organizations.

• Deep technical understanding of foundation models, post-training methodologies, evaluation frameworks, and AI agents.

• Ability to translate technical conversations with ML researchers into executable dataset specifications, experimental designs, and evaluation protocols.

• Track record of identifying customer needs through technical discovery and converting them into commercial opportunities.

• Comfort operating in early-stage, ambiguous environments with significant individual ownership and minimal process.

• Prior experience at a frontier AI lab or advanced AI research organization is a strong plus.

• Background in ML research, ML engineering, or scientific data generation is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $100,000 to $170,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Location

On-site. Primary location is Munich, Bavaria, Germany, with additional hubs in Zurich and San Francisco. Work arrangement is flexible and can be discussed.
