The Role
As a Fraud Analyst Intern, you will gain valuable and diverse experience analyzing fraudulent activity and helping clients save time and resources while collaborating cross-functionally. You’ll find yourself constantly challenged and excited about the next big thing
Key Responsibilities
Monitoring clients' transactions, identifying, recording, and reporting suspicious activity, investigating fraudulent transactions for external clients
Support Client Onboarding: Assist with fraud and risk discovery calls and tool training for new markets and partners (Ability to speak Portuguese or Asian-based languages a plus!).
Liaising with large enterprise digital businesses to assist them in identifying and solving real-time fraud challenges.
Support senior team members with fraud investigations, key accounts, and long-term product strategies.
Manage Existing Accounts: Analyze user analytics reports and dashboards to determine patterns and threat vectors, which we then provide to customers to fight potential fraud.
Identifying problems relating to anti-fraud and AML/ CFT risks for clients within their reports and programs and creating meaningful improvements
Contribute to Risk Prevention: Collaborate with GeoComply teams to identify emerging fraud patterns and recommend mitigation steps through behavioral pattern detection.
Shape Market Strategy: Help shape the product-market fit strategy for prospective GeoComply clients in the Financial Services sector, providing input on how our fraud and compliance tools address emerging needs in this space.

Who You Are
Degree or Certification: Some sort of higher education in progress or recently completed. We’re not too picky about your educational background or previous experience, at GeoComply we believe that as long as you maintain the curiosity and drive to learn what’s needed, you’ll succeed here.
Puzzle Solver. You’re a problem solver at your core, you’d enjoy developing a deeper understanding of customers' technical environments, challenges, and fraud needs, and working with them to ensure we meet their needs.

Support Focused You are capable of troubleshooting, and providing direct customer support for fraud issues
Growth Mindset: You actively seek mentorship, feedback, and are defined by your eagerness to master new tools and pivot when the business calls for it.
Proficient: No hard skills needed, we can train you in any of our tools! The ability to quickly get up to speed with a new process or tool will be a bigger asset than experience in a specific domain.
You DON’T need
High level technical skills. Whatever you need for the role technically can be taught!
Specific experience in fraud analysis. Our team will be there to help you get up to speed!
