Freelance Industrial Designer

We are a startup building AI agents and consumer devices. Users prompt agents to take actions across their tools, and use our custom devices to capture intent on the go. We are a small team based in Shenzhen and New York and our founder previously started a unicorn company in Silicon Valley.

We are looking for a freelance industrial designer working on the physical design of consumer hardware products.

Responsibilities

• Design the physical form and details of consumer hardware (primarily the smart ring)

• Work closely with engineers to balance aesthetics, structure, and manufacturability

• Iterate quickly and deliver production-ready outputs (CAD, renders, CMF)

• Support factory communication when needed

Requirements

• Background in industrial design or related field

• Experience designing consumer electronics or small hardware

• Understanding of materials and basic manufacturing processes

• Able to work independently and move quickly

• 与工程团队紧密协作，平衡美观、结构与可制造性

• 快速迭代设计并输出可量产的成果（CAD、渲染、CMF）

• 在需要时支持与工厂的沟通与设计验证

任职要求

• 工业设计或相关专业背景

• 有消费电子或小型硬件产品设计经验

• 理解材料特性及基础制造工艺

• 能够独立工作并快速推进设计迭代
